Testimonials

"Tommo is a winner - theres nothing wrong with his DNA test - and he passed the lie detetctor test with flying colours! Seriously, he's a man I've watched for years on television and is definately the top man! Hes also a very, very good judge at picking winners! "
Jeremy Kyle, TV Presenter

"Please could you pass my warmest thanks onto Tommo for his perfect 4 from 4 today. It was the perfect introduction - Long may it continue!"

The John Smiths Cup at York is always a rock solid handicap and three horses to take out of this years race are GARCIA, EDDYSTONE ROCK and VICTORY BOND> who finished 5th,6th and 7th in this 20 runner race.

Garcia named after the brilliant Spanish golfer finished a good 5th for trainer Richard Fahey and considering this was his first run for 10 months it augured well for the future!

Eddystone Rock trained by John Best is becoming a bit of an unlucky horse in that he met trouble in running at Royal Ascot and again had problems in the home straight at York before finishing 6th- he surely deserves a change of luck!

Victory Bond was backed into favouritism but this William Haggas trained 4 year old had it all to do from stall 17 and I thought did well to finish 7th – he could recoup losses next time out!

MIDNIGHT WILDE also looks one to be on next time judging by his 2nd in the 2 year old race over 6 furlongs at York. I had heard that this horse was pretty useful before he had even run and trainer John Ryan has got an exciting 2 year old on his hands here!

The boys in blue are having a great time of it and the Charlie Appleby trained filly POETIC CHARM took my eye the way she won the juvenile fillies race at Newmarket and she is already being talked about as a Moyglare filly.

QUARGENT from the Jeremy Noseda yard was a disappointing 8th but she met problems in running and with this run under her belt she can live up to her home work on the gallops here at HQ!

LARAAIB is unbeaten and the way he won the 10 furlong handicap at Ascot its going to take a very good one to beat him! He won by readily by 2 lengths and trainer Owen Burrows has got a good one on his hands here for Sheikh Hamdan!

TRIBAL QUEST could be on course for a maiden at Goodwood after being beaten a short head by the useful looking Global Giant in the 2 year old race at Newmarket. The form looks sound and this was backed up by the time so Charlie Applebys 2 year old could be one to be on next time.

THE PENTAGON made a very impressive debut at the Curragh on Saturday winning by over 8 lengths!! He is already being talked about about as a possible classic horse for next year and I notice Aiden Obriens horse has been offered at a tasty 33-1 for next years Derby!

ENABLE was a brilliant winner of the Irish Oaks and on this performance she looks the top rated 3 year old in Europe. The 6-1 available about here for the Prix de Larc de Triomphe looks tempting!
